Like I mentioned in my previous post (click here for the post), we spent a night in Paris before taking the train home from our Qatar vacation. We chose to stay at the Ibis Styles Hotel – Paris CDG Airport only because it was an airport hotel. Our train was early the next morning so this was really practical.
We were pretty wiped out from our day’s ordeal so it was really convenient that the hotel was right there. I don’t think that after a 11-hour flight and major stress, we would have been in the mood to look for a hotel outside of the airport area.
We arrived at around 8PM and we immediately checked-in our family room. Here’s how our room was like for a little less than 150 Euros (breakfast included):
A little living room area with a convertible couch, small table, and two stools.
A small open closet to hang and keep clothes.
A medium-sized television and a table and 2 chairs.
A comfortable bed for two.
A bathtub with hot and cold water and shampoo.
A separate toilet.
And a wonderful view of the airport strip.
Since we got in late, we decided to skip dinner and went to sleep early. The next morning we were up early and excited to eat breakfast! :p
Like I mentioned earlier, the breakfast was already included in the price of the room.
The breakfast was pretty complete: croissant, pain au chocolat, different types of bread, Nutella, fruit jam, charcuterie, cheese, yogurt, cereals, dried and fresh fruits …..
…. and one of my breakfast favorites, Pancakes with Maple Syrup.
Different drinks were offered as well..
One coffee for me, of course.
And fresh orange juice. This is an absolute must! <3
I’m not usually big on breakfast. A usual breakfast usually consists of a cup of coffee and a glass of orange juice. This only happens in hotels or Sunday brunch. :p
