Social English Events (Blogmas 2018 Series #5)

I’ve been organizing Social English Events in Metz, France. I’ve actually been doing this for a couple of years now, but it was always private events. This year I have finally decided to make it open to the public and doing it through my own company. It’s a good challenge, but a very stressful one too.

So today’s event was hosted at the newest tea room in town, O’ Soeurs Saveurs. From what I understand, two sisters decided to open this tea room and it is just too beautiful for words. Oh and they make the most delicious Chocolate Chip Cookies in town!

I dealt with Juliette, one of the said sister. She is straight-forward, professional, kind, but most especially, accommodating. It is truly a pleasure working with them.

This period of the year is extremely particular for me. Last year at the exact time, I was in a completely different mindset. I was afraid of the present and the near future. Today, I am thankful. Thankful for the support of my family. Thankful for the support of friends – new or old. Thankful for the support of my trainees.

Which is really the reason why the social events have been doing well. I organize and provide the entertainment. But without the support? There would be nothing!

Thank you. You know who you are.

xoxo Elodie
