Personally, I am not much a dessert-person. In a restaurant, I will most likely choose a starter over a dessert most times. If I ever do choose a dessert, it will most probably be something with chocolate during « that time of the month ». When I was living in the Philippines, I had a lot of difficulty with local desserts. In fact, I can’t decide what my favorite Filipino dessert is. I usually would go with a platter of fresh fruits. Oh yeah, Philippines Mango are one of the best things ever! In France however, I do have a little weakness for the Fraisier.
Hey guys! Today we had another social event, Chill Out Sunday at the Shamrock Pub in Metz, France.
As usual, it went super well. If you live in or around Metz and are interested in joining these kind of events, then don’t hesitate to check us out.
La Folie Douce aka Love Crazy – what is it exactly?? It’s so difficult to explain in words!
It’s hard to describe what it is, but the way I see it, it’s like the way I fell in love with my husband. Falling in love – some fall quick and hard, others get struck. The Hubby got struck and according to him, he knew he wanted me to be the mother of his future children. I took my time. I went along the crazy adventure, enjoyed every moment, and found a love I didn’t even think I deserved. When I saw the « Folie Douce » phrase on the shirt, I couldn’t help but think about that.
One can buy some pretty interesting things in Stokomani. I swear that’s true. I go 3-4 times a month and I buy anything from office supplies, house décor, kitchen stuff, kids things, and washing detergent. Even chocolate and sweets! The only thing I don’t buy are clothes because unfortunately there isn’t anything in plus size!
My absolute favorite beef cut is Bone-In Rib-Eye steak or what the French call, Côte de Boeuf. When grilled quickly, the meat is tender and just melts in the mouth. Just the thought waters my mouth already! Usually my brother-in-law provides me with my meat, but this time I had to buy from the butcher. It’s not the same, but it wasn’t bad.
Hey guys! What’s up?
I received my Birchbox really early this month. I love that! And when I opened it, it smelled wonderfully good. I love that even more. I was eager to look into details the products and then I was a little disappointed.
A couple of days ago we officially said goodbye to the winter and greeted spring. I say officially because with the weird climate changes we’ve had lately, the season has no indication to the weather. In other words, I’m not gonna pack my winter sweaters yet. Anyways, I just wanted to do a little recap of the past 3 months. On days I feel down, I like to go through my Instagram photos and then it hits me « as imperfect as my life is, it’s still a pretty good one ». I thought I would do something like that here.
