Baked Feta Pasta

I'm not a big fan of TikTok. Sometimes, the Husband and I watch in bed funny animal videos on the weekend, but that's about it. I'm more of an Instagram gal (click here to follow me). But I have to admit that from time to time, some interesting ideas can come out of TikTok, such as today's recipe - Baked Feta Pasta.

I have never really liked Feta cheese, but you know what they say .... never say never. Because I made this TikTok viral recipe for the first time 2 months ago and I loved it!

The combination of the Feta cheese and the sweetness of the tomatoes (which is why it's important to get them ripe and sweet) is excellent. There are two kinds of Feta cheese, Greek and French. The French feta cheese is more creamy in my opinion. I used Greek feta cheese in my recipe and the pasta water and olive oil turns the sauce deliciously creamy!

Baked Feta Pasta


200g Feta cheese

2 cups cherry tomatoes

1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

250g pasta of choice

1/4 cup pasta water

2 garlic cloves, finely minced

Fresh basil

Black pepper


  1. Preheat your oven at 180 degrees Celsius.

  2. In a baking dish, place the cherry tomatoes and olive oil.

  3. Toss well.

  4. Next, place the feta block in the center of the baking dish.

  5. Using a spoon, coat the feta cheese with olive oil.

  6. Add a pinch of black pepper on top of the feta.

  7. Bake for at least 40 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.

  8. In the meantime, cook your pasta. Save 1/4 cup of the pasta water and drain. Set aside.

  9. After 40 minutes, remove the baking dish from the oven.

  10. Add immediately the garlic and basil leaves. Stir and toss.

  11. Add the cooked pasta and pasta water. Toss.

  12. Garnish with more fresh basil if desired.

  13. Serve hot and enjoy!
