Hey, you! 😊
I hope you had a good week. Me? It actually went well, albeit the non-stop rain. How many weeks of rain has it been? Maybe 4. 😱 That's how I found myself running in the city center of Metz under the rain last Tuesday. And without an umbrella!! But I was having lunch with a good friend in one of my favorite places in Metz, Café P'tit Dessert (click here), so I didn't really mind the rain. On Thursday, I was supposed to have coffee with another friend, but that didn't push through. I now realize that I probably shouldn't have opened that door, but oh well. Regrets always come after, right? The Husband had a work dinner on Friday. He wasn't sure about going, but I told him it would do him good. He's been at his current work for almost a year now. How time flies! S and I had a nice dinner in front of the television, but for the life of all that's good, I can't remember what it was. Hahaha. Probably not a good movie. Was it Twilight?? I can't remember. Lol. We had a quiet and calm weekend, but when I woke up this morning I was pleasantly surprised to see a blue sky. The Husband worked overtime today and when he came home, we went on a nice walk with Bogart the Pug. We ended the day with a nice linner - Beef Roast, Dumplings, and an Apple Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream.
Another week, another weekly plan. I'm sorta craving Tomato Egg Soup, but unfortunately it isn't tomato season, so I know it won't be as good. Maybe I should use canned tomatoes, instead? Anyways ... I thought of having our first raclette meal this week, but it's Thanksgiving this week, so I'm thinking we might host a Friendsgiving meal this Sunday. But I'm not sure yet because on Saturday, we're supposed to go to Paris to attend a Filipino Christmas Market. I don't know what to do.
Keep in touch, okay?
