Beauty Product: Kueshi Shampooing Revitalisant

Updated: Apr 23, 2020

Hello guys! I hope you’re all doing good.

The weather has been so weird lately. It’s sunny, then 10 minutes later it starts raining, and then it’s sunny again. Unfortunately this goes on all day long. The husband had yesterday off and I was planning on having a family picnic. It was impossible to organize it with this kind of weather. Later in the evening, I thought we could go to the Fontaines Dansantes in the city center, but it started raining just when we were heading out. I hate rain so instead we stayed on and watched the movie, Jack. I’ve always loved that movie, but I can’t help but shed a tear or two at the end. Plus, I couldn’t help but think about Robin Williams. What a great actor – I’ve laughed and cried so much because of him.

Come on! It's supposed to be summer!!

Anyways

After the catastrophe that was Elgon Deliwash Haircare (click here for the post), the next hair product I wanted to use was Kueshi Shampoing Revitalisant.

I received this shampoo in my last Birchbox (click here for the post).

The active ingredients are:

  • Aloe Vera

  • Capucine / Nasturtium

  • Extrait de Miel d’Oranger / Extract of Orange Blossom Honey

  • Camomille / chamomile

I have dark Asian hair which is naturally oily and thick. I’ve used this products two times now and twice my hair turned out smooth, shiny (but not oily), and easy to style. Plus, it was really easy to use – like your typical shampoo honestly. Apply to wet hair, massage gently, and rinse well. The only thing that was a little off for me would be the smell. It’s sweet – really really sweet! You can really tell that it’s made of honey. And I personally have a little problem when my beauty products smell like something I would eat. But that’s just a little detail amongst all the positive things I love about this product.

In fact, I love it so much that I ordered it from the Birchbox website. This is the first time I bought a product from the beauty boxes I receive each month. Subscribers have a 15% discount off the products. It should arrive with my next Birchbox in September (delivery is free if it’s delivered with the beauty box). I can’t wait!

xoxo Elodie
