Cherry Clafouti (Clafoutis aux Cerises) | French Recipe

It's the middle of the summer, so today I'm making Cherry Clafouti and sharing my recipe with you! This custard-like dessert is perfect in the summer when cherries are in full season and so delicious!




This French classic is one of the easiest dessert to make! If you have young kids, I would totally encourage you to make this as a family activity. Ask the kids to weigh the ingredients first then they just have to mix everything together.




The eating part might be a lil tricky though because of the pits. My dad taught me to not remove the cherry pits. He used to say that it brings extra flavour when they are warm - almost almond-like. I wouldn't know because I've never had Cherry Clafouti without cherry pits. If you wish, you could remove the pits for this recipe.
