(There's No Place Like) Home for the Holidays

Updated: Jan 5, 2022

Hey, you! ❤️

The Husband is finally off work for the next 4 days. Woohoo!!

Speaking of the Husband, thank you for the wonderful messages I received regarding yesterday's anecdote. I'm glad it gave you a good laugh. Click here for the post.

Anyways, as I was saying the Husband isn't working the next coming days which means we will be able to celebrate Christmas Eve and Christmas Day together. We are spending Christmas with my French family in the countryside, so we decided to have mini-celebrations today and tomorrow just the three of us.

While I spent the day wrapping our gifts (I've been really good with buying the gifts on time, gift-wrapping not so much), the Husband and the Daughter were out and about getting last-minute things. Oh, this reminds me that I need to go buy exotic fruits tomorrow to bring to my sister's!

For today's celebration, we decided to enjoy a Raclette. I'm not particularly fond of Raclette, but the Daughter is so I knew this would make her super happy. I'm thinking that maybe I should make a dedicated Youtube video or blog post on Raclette before the winter ends.

I'm not a huge fan of Raclette, but I am however a fan of food and pretty things. So let me show you this pretty Charcuterie Wreath I prepared for today's festive Raclette. What do you think of it? 😊

xoxo Elodie

P.S. We're having dinner at a restaurant tomorrow night. I can't wait! 🤤
