I had a very very good week. I can't say I took a break as we had my niece's two children for the whole week, so we were quite busy. Busy going out, doing activities, but also acting as police officers when they started fighting. Hahaha.
As you might have seen on my weekly meal plan last week, I tried to cook some of their favorites. At each meal, I would hear my nephew say, "yeah, that's my favorite!". I was happy and I really appreciated the fact that meal time really went well. No cries. By the way, they loved my Creamy Vegetable Soup with Croutons.
It's back-to-school this week and I thought I would go back to regular programming however .... my 15-year old daughter asked me if she could bring a lunchbox to school. It's funny because I've never made her a lunchbox (except when she goes on a field trip) and now that she's in high school, she suddenly wants me to make her a lunchbox. Go figure. Until now, I would eat leftovers for lunch, but I now have to add meal ideas on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. And it turns out the Husband also wishes to bring food more often at work. So this week will be a test, fingers crossed, it will go well.
