And so the obsession with crime series continues ...
A few weeks ago, my lil fam and I binge-watched the second season of Only Murders in the Building. Season 1 ended with the murder of Bunny Folger, the board president of Arconia and unfortunately in season two, our favorite detectives / podcasters are the main suspects of this horrible crime.
As they try to prove their innocence, they also have to deal with their rival Cinda Canning and her new podcast series "Only Murderers in the Building" as she is clearly determined to prove them guilty.
As it was the case for season 1 (click here for the post), we absolutely love this season! New characters are brought in to bring more twists in this comic mystery. The writing is sharp, the acting is excellent (what else would you expect, right?), and the ever-present suspense kept us at the edge of our seats. I feel like because we already knew the three main characters, we could fully appreciate their chemistry this season. I also loved that the episodes are short, but it is simply pure torture to wait for a new episode each week! 😭
There's something very odd about finding warmth, comfort, and satisfaction in a murder series, but Only Murders in the Building isn't your typical murder series, is it?
I simply cannot wait for the next season because guess what? Season 2 also ends with a murder! And we can't wait to know all about it!
