Pumpkin Purée | Recipe

Hey, you! 🎃

It's Autumn and I'm dreaming of making Pumpkin Pancakes, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Pumpkin Bread ... but before I can do all of that, I had to make Pumpkin Purée first.

I know that a lot of people are able to buy some at the store, but unfortunately for me, that's not possible. I can't find any. But honestly, making Pumpkin Purée isn't that hard - in fact it is super easy. You just need time as it needs to be cooked in the oven for about 40 minutes, depending on the size of your pumpkin.

Pumpkin Purée is made using only 1 ingredient. Most times, the result is a thick and smooth purée. But sometimes, depending on the size of the pumpkin, the result can be runny which is not ideal if you want to make baked goods using your pumpkin purée. If it is runny, I would recommend straining the liquid using a cheese cloth. That should do the trick. 😉

Now that I have my Pumpkin Purée, I will prepare my Pumpkin Pie Spice tomorrow so I can make a proper Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte and maybe some Pumpkin Pancakes with Cinnamon Butter this weekend. Oh yum! 🤤
