Weekly Meal Plan: Feb. 5 - Feb. 11, 2024

Updated: Feb 5

Hey, you! 😊

How was your week?

Ours was actually really good. I had a couple of things to do for work so I was out and about. The Husband had a big exam which he succesfully passed. I'm so glad for him and I've noticed that he handles his stress so much better than how he used to. S was busy with school, volleyball practice, and a million other things.

On Friday, we celebrated La Chandeleur by having a Crepes Party for dinner. I've written all about it here (eating crepes on Feb. 2 is supposed to bring you luck!) - I hope you tried my recipe. If not, click here for it. Crepes can be eaten anytime of the year anyways! 😉

We went to S's school on Saturday. She had a presentation she absolutely wanted us to see. They call it accrosport in France and I later realized that it's actually cheerleading. I was very proud of her because I had no idea she could do what she did and she looked so happy too! I love seeing her this way. 🥰

Then in the evening, we watched Star Academy, which is one of the few French tv shows I watch. It's very rare that I watch television nowadays - I prefer movies and tv series - usually in English! Anyways, it was the finals and what a finals it was! We laughed so hard and went to bed at 2am! #iykyk

We will celebrate Lunar New Year this week, so I have dumplings on the menu. As well as Steamed Fish, which I cook with ginger, scallions, soy sauce, and sesame oil. It's so good and one of my favorite fish recipe ever! I'm not going to post a recipe video of the Steamed Fish, but look out for the Dumplings. That one is definitely coming soon!

Have a good week! 😃

xoxo Elodie
